Henry and Clara Holtzman, along with their
family, moved to the Bexley area, circa 1890’s, from Pennsylvania. They built their home just north of East Main Street on the west side of South Parkview Avenue. Their factory was across Alum Creek on East Main Street.
The company’s piano stools were sold worldwide.
After Henry died in 1905, one of his sons,
Frank, became president of the company.
Frank, in 1908, was selected as the first mayor of the Village of Bexley.
