On August 27, 2023, we had the honor of spending time with members of the McGuire family. They are descendants of the McGuire’s who lived in the Caretaker’s Cottage (now known as the Bexley Historical Society Cottage Museum) from 1933 until 1959. After leaving Jeffrey Mansion, the remaining McGuire’s then moved to the Miller’s property a few houses north of Jeffrey Mansion.
We had a fabulous time speaking with the family today as they reminisced and told stories they heard about the Jeffrey property and Cottage that have been passed down through the years.
“We hope you had a wonderful time and we are so thrilled to have listened to your family’s treasured memories today. Thank you for being such an incredible part of the history of our community!”
